A Time To Build, LLC

Hello Facebook Friends! We have bittersweet news. A Time to Build is officially announcing its CLOSING August 1st 2025. We are no longer taking on projects at this time.
While we are so sad to say goodbye to our loyal customers, the Fopma family is excitedly moving forward into new endeavors!

Roger, who opened his business nearly 30 years ago, is finally putting down the hammer and retiring with Dana. They are hitting the road in a fifth wheel trailer and plan to be traveling the US for the next few years! We are excited to see him getting some much needed RNR!

Chad and his Family have recently moved to Tennessee and are already adjusting to life and work in a new state!

Nathan and his family are the last to leave Colorado and will be moving to South Carolina in August. Nathan will be carrying on his own contracting business there and looks forward to continuing in the family field in new and exciting ways!

To everyone we have worked with through the years, we say a huge THANK YOU! You have been a huge part of sustaining and providing for our family and business through the years. We could not have done it without you.

Basement Finishing

Here is a larger job that we did this fall. We demoed their old kitchen and removed the wall dividing their living room from the kitchen. Cabinets and counter space were added where the wall used to be giving plenty of room and adding space in the kitchen.

Under cabinet lights were added and the pendants across the island were added as well as can lights giving the room lots of light. All the walls and ceiling were given a fresh coat of paint making the room stand out even more.

We tiled the kitchen, dining room, fireplace and entry way. The tile used is made to look like wood planks and the dark floor really contrasts the cabinets and the accents in the tile almost match the color of the cabinets. This flooring adds a natural beauty to the kitchen.

We added the tile to the walls in the bathroom, made and installed a new vanity and cabinet above the toilet as well. The tile wall was very unique, it has reddish browns, gold and copper tones and really made the bathroom beautiful. The sink sits on top of the counter giving the bathroom an upgrade and modern look.

This was a big job and we had a lot of fun on it. Can’t wait to start our next big project!

We did this remodel this last spring 2019 and we are now booking jobs into spring of 2020! On this job there was a wall between the dining room and the living room. We built a temporary wall, added the necessary structural beams, and took out the wall to make a nice open dining and living area. We redid the flooring and put in luxury vinyl throughout the main floor. It was a fun job to see come to completion and took roughly 4 weeks to complete.

We recently completed another remodel, tiling the entire main floor with tile that looks like wood. It was 1600 square feet. We also did their kitchen. We are currently working on turning garage into living space. We’ve knocked down the brick wall in the garage, and opened up the interior wall dividing the living room and garage. We’ve put in the structural beams for support and have framed in the new floor in the garage. We are uploading daily to our story here on Facebook and also on Instagram so that you can see the process as it happens so be sure to check that out. We have been working on moving the stairs going into the basement over to a new location, opening up the basement significantly.
