Today’s decks are so easy to keep looking great! With Trex decking, PVC trim and Azek railings maintenance is simply spraying down once or twice a season.
Here we kept the basic shape of the old deck but we added 4 feet extra to the depth. Next we added a step down from the kitchen allowing the entire deck to sit lower to the ground & to help opening the storm door during New England winter snowfalls.
During construction we found major rot on the ledger that connects the deck to the house. The new pressure treated framing should last for many many cookouts!

When you are a chef that loves to cook big time meals but are moving to a smaller kitchen sometimes you have to go ‘off menu’ and custom order solutions!
During this project we opened the kitchen pass-through to accommodate the new eat-at bar and open sight lines, maximized storage with taller cabinets, custom built a black walnut topped rolling island and quadrupled lighting options with recessed fixtures. Bon appétit!

When downsizing our client tasked us with creating a space that was sophisticated, easy to maintain, and able to adapt as the clients grow older.
We started by removing a dated whirlpool bath tub and reconfiguring the plumbing to move and expand the shower while incorporating the existing skylight for natural light. During the build we added a bench and backing for future handrails (if ever needed). The project was finished off with the addition of matching granite throughout.

This family bathroom pulls double duty as a laundry room. By incorporating built-in cabinetry we were able to maximize storage while also keeping the footprint functional & full of natural light.
Situated within an antique farmhouse, the existing bathroom had a history of frozen pipes. when we had everything open we were able to use today’s technologies with insulation and draft sealing to correct the issue once and for all!
