❤️ Remembering Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton gave the world so much more than great music.

One of the things we admire most is the legacy she created through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which sends free books to children under age 5.

The program was inspired by her father, who never learned to read or write, and it grew into something that has placed hundreds of millions of books into the hands of children.
That is a legacy worth celebrating.

At GreenLawn, we believe in taking care of our community and helping the next generation grow. Dolly did exactly that in her own special way.

When our neighbors are facing hardship, Carmel comes together 💙

Join Mayor Sue Finkam, the Carmel City Council, Lucas Oil, the OneZone Chamber, and community partners this Thursday, August 27, for the Rally for Relief—a community-wide, drive-through donation event to support Central Indiana families impacted by recent devastating flooding.

📍 Where: The Lucas Estate (11303 Ditch Rd., Carmel, IN)
⏰ When: Thursday, August 27 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Just pull up, and our volunteers will help unload your donations right from your car.

🌧️ 10.4 inches of rain.

That’s what we’ve measured at our own home in Carmel so far this August.

Obviously totals vary depending on where you live, but one thing is certain, our lawns have had A LOT of water.

And while everything may look green, all this wet soil can create problems. Wet ground compacts much easier, especially with mowing, foot traffic and equipment going across it.

That’s why aeration is going to be especially important this fall.

Once the ground dries out enough, core aeration helps open that compacted soil back up and allows air, water and nutrients to get down to the roots.

10.4 inches of rain at our house. I think it’s safe to say our lawns have had enough water. Now they need some air! 🌱

What a great day at Cruise Indy on Saturday! 🇺🇸🚘

Hundreds of beautiful cars, a great crowd and an even better cause.

A big thank you to Dr. Kevin Macadaeg, president and founder of Indiana Spine Group, and his family for putting together such a wonderful event benefiting Folds of Honor Indiana.

GreenLawn by Design is proud to support Folds of Honor and the Heroes Club, especially as a veteran-owned business.

We even got to be part of the show with Dad’s 1931 Ford Model A Coupe, which made the day extra special for us.

Beautiful cars, helicopter flyovers, good people and a cause that supports our military and first responder families. Hard to beat that.
