Lenze America already knew what good sound felt like. We had treated one of their conference rooms in Uxbridge, so when two executive offices, the CFO's and the Operations office, kept ringing on calls, they asked us to do the same for those.
The rooms looked sharp, but a wall of glass, painted drywall, and thin carpet gave sound nothing to grab. Measured reverberation came in at 1.85 seconds, more than double what a private office should be.
We hung twenty two-inch fabric-wrapped panels, ten in each office and about 156 square feet in all, in a fabric matched to their conference room. Reverberation dropped to about 0.84 seconds, roughly 55 percent less, and calls got noticeably clearer.
