Ever wonder why birds 🐦 don’t get shocked ⚡️ when they land on power lines? It’s because they only touch one wire at a time, so the electricity doesn’t have anywhere to flow through their bodies. But if a bird accidentally touches two wires at once, or a wire and something grounded, it completes an electrical circuit ⚡️🔌. This allows electricity to pass through the bird, which can lead to serious injury or electrocution. So, it’s all about how the electricity flows — and the bird’s careful one-wire perch keeps it safe! 🙌🐦

❌ FALSE
Electricity follows conductive paths, not attraction. Metal conducts, but it doesn't “pull” electricity in. If it's the easiest path, electricity will go through it.

❌ FALSE (Under normal conditions)
12V is typically not enough to overcome the resistance of human skin, so it won't electrocute you. But high current + wet conditions or open wounds = danger.

Did you know that both humans and animals are vulnerable to electric shocks because our bodies are about 60% water? 💧 Since water conducts electricity, when an electric current touches us, it travels through the path of least resistance — our water-filled bodies. That’s why electric shocks happen! ⚡️ Stay safe and stay aware!

✅ TRUE
Birds don't create a potential difference across their bodies—they're just sitting on one wire. No current = no shock. If they touched two wires at different voltages, they'd be fried.
