Inspiring U Inspiring U is a place where you can take creative classes in sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet, jewelry-making, painting and other various crafts.

Want to start crafting but don't know where to begin? At Inspiring U, we offer painting, sewing, quilting, jewelry-making, macrame classes, and more in Westerville, OH! With offerings for both children and adults, our classes are designed for students to complete and take home a project each session. Our studio is equipped with everything you need for a successful project, including a LongArm machine for quilting that is available for you to rent so that you can work on your own projects! Our small class sizes and experienced instructors can help guide you through the process with ease. Groups, birthday parties, scout troops, and more—we welcome groups of any size to explore their creativity at Inspiring U. Book a class with us today to get started!

✨ Saturday Classes ✨
Adult Level 1: Beginner Machine Sewing — 9:00 AM
Ready to learn the basics of sewing? Learn about fabrics, the sewing machine, and the "tools of the trade". Students will make a small fabric bin while learning their new skills. This class is also great for those who have purchased a new machine, or for those who haven't sewn for many years. All supplies are included for this beginner class. Register here:

Crystal Cascade Necklace & Earrings — 6:00 PM
Create a Crystal Cascade Necklace and Earrings can be made with all of your favorite colors. We have lots of charms to choose from too. You will learn how to make a cascade of beads, a dangle pendant, and some earrings. This is a fun night out with friends! So be sure to tell all of your friends and have them join you! Your may bring whatever beverages and/or snacks you want for the class. All supplies are included in your class fee. Register here:

✨ Sunday Class ✨
Tote Bag with 6 Simple Pockets — 1:00 PM After you have taken our Beginner Sewing Class, and learned the basics of the machine, this is a beginner-friendly project where students will learn the simple steps of making a lovely and practical tote bag. This can be used for grocery shopping, or every day, and filled with all of your necessities. The outer six pockets will be sewn when the straps are stitched on and gives you lots of extra storage space. Register here:

✨ Exciting News! ✨

My name is Michelle Foster, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new owner of Inspiring U! As someone who grew up in Westerville and continues to call this wonderful community home, I am passionate about creating opportunities for connection, creativity, and personal growth right here.

Taking ownership of Inspiring U is more than a business opportunity for me. It is a chance to invest in the community that helped shape who I am. I truly believe that when people come together with open hearts and creative spirits, amazing things happen. My hope is that Inspiring U continues to be a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and everyone feels welcomed, supported, and inspired.

I am thrilled to continue building a space where we can all Gather, Create, and Empower together.

I get requests for this class ALL THE TIME! But I don't offer it very often because it's a 2 session class. But now is the time! This class is going to be Tuesday, September 22nd, and September 29th. 6:00-8:00 p.m. If you want to learn how to make a sweater, it's best to start with a baby sweater! Did you know that we offer Kids Sewing every Thursday, after school, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.? We have different projects every week. If your child wants to get better at sewing, both by machine, and by hand, sign them up for these classes with Miss Becky! Your child's love of sewing will continue to grow as they learn skills like putting in a drawstring, doing a blanket stitch, quilting, hand embroidery, finishing edges, and so much more! LOVE Football Wood Sign with Beth Gabel

We've cut out this unique LOVE shape out of wood for you to paint and make all your own! The "V" is a pair of footballs, and the "O" is a Block O, or it could be for Olentangy, or you can make it whatever colors you want.. There are lines to follow, so this project is excellent for both kids and adults. You have the choice of adding ribbons, or not , to your wire hanger. This is great on your door, in your favorite fan's room, or to give as a gift.
