We always try to add more light in a bathroom. In a shower especially.

Hidden space in a primary bathroom?

This project highlights what we do best. We had an inclination that this original shower (2nd photo) could be expanded into this space to the left. But we wouldn’t actually know until we tore everything out. It just so happens, we were able to DOUBLE the shower size! Can’t say that happens very often.

The Dog didn’t want us to update the bathroom.

Some of the older homes in columbus still have all plaster walls. Think Bexley, Upper Arlington, grandview and Clintonville. These renovations can prove real difficult because of the challenges added with lead pipes, and terribly messy demolition.

That’s why on these older remodels, we plan to take the project down to bare studs before building it back up. It allows us to replace any damage behind the walls and makes for a better end result.

I promise you, even the dog Bella was happy with the transformation.
