Before & After: A Full Remodel Transformation 🏡✨

This one is a great example of what a full remodel can really do. From weathered, dated exterior to a fresh, modern look with new siding, updated windows, and a rebuilt deck and stair system — this home got a complete top-to-bottom transformation.

One of our favorite parts of this project? The brand new stone chimney and fireplace. Built completely from scratch, it looks like it's always been there — like this house was designed around it from day one. That's the kind of craftsmanship we take pride in.

🎉 HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, SENTRY POINT! 🎉

Two years ago, on August 3rd (We're a little late with this post), we started as a small team of just 7 people with a big vision. Today? We're a crew of 15 strong — and growing! 💪🏗️

👷 New faces, new strength — We added a laborer and two more skilled carpenters to the team this year, with 1-2 more hires expected before the year is out!

📊 Leveled up our office — Our bookkeeper stepped up her game before heading off to chase a new dream of her own, and we welcomed a new Accounting Manager to keep the books running smoother than ever.

🎨 Brought design in-house — We hired a full-time Designer to help bring your vision to life from day one.

📐 Doubled down on estimating — Our 2nd Estimator joined the team, meaning faster, more accurate proposals for you.

💻 Fresh look, fresh energy — A brand-new, upgraded website and a leveled-up social media presence to match the growth happening behind the scenes.

🎪 Out in the community — We've already hit more home shows and festivals this year than all of last year combined!

🙏 A special shout-out — None of this happens without the people who built the foundation. To our Owners, Dan and Beau, and to our founding team members, Ant and James — thank you for the vision, the grit, and the countless hours poured into building Sentry Point from the ground up. ✨ BEFORE & AFTER: A COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION ✨

The "before" was dark, closed off, and honestly a little tired — dated wood floors, dark walls, a cramped kitchen setup, and barely any natural light making it into the space.

Fast forward to the "after" and it's a totally different home. ☀️ Fresh paint opened up the whole room, wide-plank flooring brightened things up underfoot, and a brand-new kitchen island gives the space a functional, modern gathering spot. Those gorgeous exposed wood beams? Still there — because good design doesn't erase character, it highlights it.

🎨 That’s a wrap on the 68th Annual Mystic Outdoor Art Festival! 🎨

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by the Sentry Point Development Group tent over the past two days in Downtown Mystic! We had an incredible turnout, met so many great people, and had a blast being part of this amazing event.

We handed out 100+ coloring books for our Kids LEGO Raffle, collected a TON of entries for our Design Raffle, and had a great time connecting with everyone who stopped by. Our Sentry Point measuring tapes, magnets, bracelets, and other swag were also a big hit!

This was our second year at the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival, and we're already planning an even bigger and better showing next year.

Most importantly, we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Mystic community and look forward to continuing to serve local homeowners and bring great projects to life.

🎄 And we’re not done yet! Sentry Point will be part of the Mystic Holiday Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, November 28th, starting at 6:15 PM.
