Behind the Scenes at Ocean House 🌊
Twice a year, we rotate these custom area rugs at the Ocean House, swapping them out with a backup set so each set gets the care it needs.
The rugs are professionally cleaned or recycled out of service depending on their condition. We also have the the leather binding inspected and reapplied if needed to help keep them looking sharp and standing up to the incredible amount of traffic they see.
It’s a behind-the-scenes process that most guests never notice - but it’s an important part of preserving the beauty and longevity of these custom pieces. You can find them the Main Lobby, Private Owners Clubhouse, Main Corridors, and even in a few select owners suites.
We’re proud to play a small part in keeping this iconic New England property looking its best.
