We are seeking Lead Installers to join our team.
As a Lead Installer, you will play a vital role in cutting, fitting, and installing glass for various projects, including residential windows, commercial buildings, specialty architectural glass, and glass shower enclosures. You will work closely with a small team to ensure precise measurements, safe handling, and high-quality finishes. Regular communication with clients is essential to provide them with project updates. Local travel to project sites is expected to support diverse glazing needs efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cutting and shaping glass to precise specifications
- Installing glass panels in residential and commercial settings
- Sealing and securing glass installations for safety and durability
- Measuring and fitting glass accurately using blueprints
- Maintaining compliance with safety standards during all tasks
- Performing repairs and routine maintenance on glass installations
- Communicating regularly with clients to provide project updates
- Handling materials and tools carefully to prevent damage
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in glass cutting and fitting techniques
- Experience using glazing tools effectively
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Physical stamina for handling heavy materials and prolonged tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- 2+ years of experience in glazing
