Major milestone at Smith College’s Sage Hall! 🏗️✨
As part of the multi-phase HVAC infrastructure upgrade, our team successfully lifted the new Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) unit into place atop Sage Hall.
To house this critical mechanical system inside the historic 1924, 40,000-square-foot building, our team constructed a custom 1,000-square-foot dormer structure on the roof. This unit will deliver fresh air throughout the building and integrate seamlessly with the college’s broader transition toward sustainable geothermal energy.
Projects like this don't happen overnight. For almost two years, we’ve been collaborating closely with Smith College and C&H Architects to plan every detail. We take pride in being a trusted partner for higher education institutions, integrating with project teams to bring complex visions to life.
With Phase 2 well underway through January, we look forward to continuing our work on campus through Summer 2027!
