🚧✨ Check out these incredible before and after photos from a recent Type II Fiberized Microsurfacing project completed for a private customer in San Luis Obispo, California!

To maintain site operations, the main access road was treated in phases, allowing continuous access throughout the project. Prior to treatment, the pavement surface was in a significant state of deterioration, with larger aggregate protruding approximately 3/8 to 1/2 inch across much of the parking lot.

VSSI performed extensive surface preparation, including a thorough cleaning of the pavement and careful protection of adjacent concrete surfaces and wheel stops. As a result, the microsurfacing application achieved excellent coverage despite the rough condition of the existing pavement.

🚧Sharing photos from another successful pavement preservation project completed in Menlo Park, California. This citywide effort included improvements at several locations throughout the community, with work ranging from asphalt dig-outs and ADA curb ramp upgrades to speed humps, tree trimming, minor concrete repairs, signing and striping, and crack sealing. 🛣

Crack sealing is one of the most effective ways to preserve pavement and extend the life of roadways. By sealing cracks before water can pe*****te the surface, cities can help prevent further deterioration, reduce future repair costs, and keep streets in service longer.
