Good advice for the fall!

If you are getting your yard into shape for Thanksgiving and that family football game, now is a great time to knock out those fall yard to-dos! See our reminders! Remove leaves (or mulch into the grass), aerate the family lawn, mow at the right height and water wisely.

Description: Suspect appears to be an adult, approximately 1" long and 1/2" wide at rest, grey in color with contrasting red and black wings with black spots.

Suspect was last seen destroying trees, vineyards, crops, and more across Pennsylvania.

Be careful Not to cut during hot dry weather! Cutting further dries out the lawn and causes lawn mower wheel damage. Cutting AFTER RAIN is best to reduce stress.

The nice weather without rain is causing a lot of surface dryness! Using a ruler after cutting, the grass should be at least 2 1/2” to 3” high and let’s hope for some rain! This months umbrella winner is Bob Glenn of Sinking Spring! Have a great day!
