Apparently Iโ€™ve said โ€œI have a complaintโ€ enough times that it was time to expand my vocabulary. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So on todayโ€™s episode of How to Raise a Flight Attendantโ€™s Blood Pressure for Absolutely No Reasonโ€ฆ

โ€œI have a grievance.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Meet Carrie & Nicole from our Southwest Airlines flight from Palm Beach to Baltimore.

After the grievances were formally addressed, blood pressures returned to normal, and nobody had me removed from the aircraftโ€ฆ Nicole casually tells me sheโ€™s actually seen some of my videos on Instagram lately.

EXCUSE ME?! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚
Now Iโ€™m the one flustered.

Anywayโ€ฆ PART 1.

Because there was still one more flight attendant I hadnโ€™t gotten to yet.

Her name is Victoria.

And unfortunatelyโ€ฆ I made her cry. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

7AM flight = weโ€™re keeping everybodyโ€™s cortisol levels DOWN. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜•๏ธ

Normally, I like to start these interactions with a little harmless chaos. An โ€œI have a complaintโ€ฆโ€ here, a fake confrontation there. But this was a 7AM flight from Palm Beach to Baltimore, and quite frankly, nobody had even had enough coffee for all that. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So this episode of is a little more chill.

No complaints. No suspicious behavior. No unnecessarily concerned airline employees.

Just a portrait and a little โ€œthank youโ€ for the people who make traveling a little more pleasant. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

We got there around 10AM and this place was PACKED๐Ÿซช

Theyโ€™re known for their over-the-top brunch dishes, including their famous ๐‚๐š๐ฉโ€™๐ง ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ก ๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ก ๐“๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐๐š๐›๐ฒ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ.

But honestly? The food wasnโ€™t the only entertainment.

She was basically a walking emcee, comedian AND server all rolled into one. ๐Ÿ˜‚ She kept the entire room entertained, kept the energy going, and somehow managed to do all of that while actually taking care of everyone.

I genuinely donโ€™t know how she maintains that level of energy all morning, but sheโ€™s one of those people who becomes part of the reason you remember a place and part of the reason you want to come back.

And because Niki has such a big, fun personality, I wanted her portrait to have a little bit of that same energy too.

Drawing Strangers in the Wild: Gate Agent Edition โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŽจ

This time I walked up to our gate agent Randi and asked:

โ€œ๐‘ฏ๐’Šโ€ฆ ๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฐ ๐’ƒ๐’“๐’Š๐’ƒ๐’† ๐’š๐’๐’–?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

No, I wasnโ€™t actually trying to get an aisle seat. My โ€œbribeโ€ was a portrait I had secretly drawn of her.

Randi was one of the two gate agents working our flight that morning, and Iโ€™m glad I was able to start her day with a cool surprise. ๐‘ฏ๐‘ถ๐‘พ๐‘ฌ๐‘ฝ๐‘ฌ๐‘น. ๐‘พ๐‘ฌ ๐‘ฏ๐‘จ๐‘ฝ๐‘ฌ ๐‘จ ๐‘ท๐‘น๐‘ถ๐‘ฉ๐‘ณ๐‘ฌ๐‘ด.

There was another gate agent working alongside her and SHE was actually the one who helped fix our seating arrangement at the last minute. The problem? I didnโ€™t get the chance to do hers. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

But guess what? I MADE HER PORTRAIT!

So now I am officially calling on the ๐‘บ๐’๐’–๐’•๐’‰๐’˜๐’†๐’”๐’• ๐’‡๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Š๐’๐’š for assistanceโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

If anyone recognizes the lovely gate agent in the last photo, PLEASE help me find her! I just want to make sure she gets the portrait I made for her.

Meet Daz.

By the time I walked over to hand him his portrait, Joseph had already prepped the scene๐Ÿ˜‚

So I took a deep breath, walked over, and ran my whole spiel.

His reaction? A huge bear hug.

And then he told me I had โ€œ๐ ๐ก๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

The truth is, this crew had been carrying the weight of everyoneโ€™s frustration over circumstances they couldnโ€™t control.

Iโ€™m just grateful I got the chance to end their day on a happier note.

Thatโ€™s what ๐ƒ๐ซ๐š๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ has always been about.

Not just drawing faces.

But reminding people that someone noticed them.
