A Heartfelt Farewell from Peay’s Electric

After 64 years of serving our community, Peay’s Electric officially closed its doors on August 21st.

Since 1962, it has been our honor and privilege to serve generations of families, businesses, and neighbors. What began as a business became so much more - a part of this community, and a part of our lives.

To our customers, thank you for your business, your trust, your loyalty, and for allowing us to serve you through the years. Every call, every job, every referral, and every kind word meant more to us than you may ever know.

To our employees, past and present, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to Peay’s Electric. You were the heart of this company, and we are incredibly grateful for the countless hours, sacrifices, and pride you put into serving our customers and our community. We could not have made it this far without you.

Closing our doors is not easy, but we are leaving this chapter with full hearts and tremendous gratitude for the people who made the journey so meaningful.

Summary

In the role of Electrical Commercial Foreman, you will oversee electrical projects such as underground, material planning and ordering for the whole project. Able to schedule ahead on their project with common knowledge of the 2020 NEC Electrical Code. This person will be responsible for running the complete jobsite with Leadmen in place to run their specified jobs given. Must help in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient ex*****on. Reporting to the Project Manager, your core skills in electrical management, project scheduling. You will leverage premium skills such as ProCore to manage contracts and resources effectively. Your expertise in blueprint reading and quality control will ensure high standards are met, making you a vital part of our construction team dedicated to excellence and safety on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28 - $34 per hour

We are looking for commercial electricians who have the experience with the following:

Minimum of 5 years experience

Must be able to work well with others, take instruction and work with minimal supervision

Self Motivator

Many years worth of work coming up

Projects to include light Commercial and Multi Tenant Condominiums .

Must have excellent knowledge of Commercial and Residential NEC Codes.

Pay starts at $22/hr. and will be based on experience.

A desire to excel in your career with multiple years of work coming.

Strong working knowledge of job site safety - OSHA 10 preferred.

Must have ALL tools required for the trade.

Must be reliable.

Must have a good attitude and be able to communicate well with other members of management and or CG's.
