After working several years as a territory manager for a national pest control company, Bernard Black decided that he was ready to start his own small pest control business. In the summer of 2005, Black’s Pest Services was born. He recognized that his northwest customers were sensitive to changes in the pest control industry and had more questions about his products. In order to meet their needs,

Bernard adopted the concept of bio rational pest control into his business (also referred to as integrated pest management). This concept does not eliminate the use of pesticides but rather employs them in a way that makes them more efficient. In appropriate situations this can reduce or even eliminate pesticide treatment for a particular job. Basically, at Black’s we take more time to inspect individual problems and develop solutions tailored to each customer. Black’s Pest Services has grown since 2005 and now has as a wonderful office manager and some very skillful technicians. Our team constantly strives for innovation in our pest control programs and in our office.
