Had the opportunity last night to meet with local NRCS office representatives, Army Corps of Engineers officials, Nature Conservancy officials, local farmers, and other local businesses invested in protecting our water quality. Special thanks to Barnharts’ Custom Services for hosting the event. The pictures featured are of stream bank maintenance that we performed this year. Thanks for the opportunity, Theresa, Marcy, Justin, and all of the other local NRCS stewards for protecting and improving our lands.

Flashback a few years ago we dredged out a 60 year old pond. This pond had not had any pond maintenance for the entirety of its existence. Normal pond maintenance would include removing the silt that comes along with heavy rains every couple years. This particular pond had over 12’ of sludge in it over the course of 2-2.5 acres. It was a massive undertaking but the final result is something I can look back on and be very pleased. Call for your free estimate on all pond formations, maintenance, and erosion control.
