Hurricane Isaias had us packing for a marathon and showed up for a sprint. 😂

It may not have been the storm we expected, but that’s great for the communities impacted and we’re thankful for the work we were given and even more thankful for the crews who packed their bags, left their families, and headed to Alabama ready to help restore power.

Whether it’s 3 days or 3 weeks, we appreciate our guys for always being willing to answer the call.

Thankful everyone made it home safe! Until the next one! ⚡

Kess Line Services has the green light for Alabama as Hurricane Isaias approaches the coast!

Our crews are ready to respond and do what they do best, help get the lights back on!

As always, we want to keep everyone in the storm’s path, along with every lineworker heading out to assist with restoration efforts, in our prayers. Praying for safety over all!

A morning well spent! ⛳️

KessLine was proud to sponsor a hole and have two teams out on the course this morning for a fundraiser golf scramble benefiting a special little girl in our community. All proceeds are helping her family raise funds for a therapy she needs.

We’re thankful to be a small part of a community that shows up for its own. 💛

More coming on this potential nor’easter for the end of the week. One of the biggest factors that remains unknown for this storm is if it will be a warm core or cold core low. The differences determine the impact potentials but when it comes down to it, it’s pretty simple

-warm core nor’easter: more compact yet tends to be more powerful and impacts a smaller area but takes on more tropical characteristics.

Cold core: much larger wind fields, much more widespread impacts.

One thing they have in common?: impacts.

While models are pretty consistent on us having a solid coastal low pressure system next weekend, exact location, strength and impact areas remain to be determined.

Employee Spotlight: Jacob Preece ⚡️

Jacob has been part of Kess Line since the very beginning—helping Kevin wire trucks before our first storm—and brings over 15 years of experience in the utility industry to his role as Director of Safety.

For Jacob, safety comes down to one thing: Never assume. Verify. His focus is making sure our crews look out for one another, do things the right way, and most importantly, make it home safe.
