is an architectural and engineering design firm located in West Lafayette, Indiana, near the campus of Purdue University. We offer full-service consulting by managing projects through the phases of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Every KJG design is the result of strategic planning based on the objectives of each individual client. By applying experience and innovative design, KJG creates construction plans that are both cost effective and practical to construct. Our KJG Architecture team enjoyed a beautiful fall day together last Friday at Happy Hollow Park! From playing games to catching up outside the office, our annual fall picnic was the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy each other’s company.

The new Wesley Foundation Student Center is a four-story mixed-use building designed to create a vibrant space for faith, community, learning, and living. The first floor features a welcoming lobby, dining hall, kitchen, worship lounge, and offices. The second floor includes a Great Hall, library, conference room, classroom, and additional offices. A defining feature of the Great Hall is its collection of custom-made stained-glass windows, which brings color and light to the space. The third and fourth floors provide residential housing, with three apartment units on each floor offering 16 beds and 7 baths per floor. The building’s exterior combines brick veneer and gray metal panels complementing the surrounding buildings near Purdue University’s campus.

Last week, we had the honor of attending the ABC Awards Gala in Louisville, Kentucky to help receive an award of excellence for the Pavilion and Kitchen, a project recently completed in Logansport, IN! Congratulations to the Cass County Community Foundation, Steinberger Construction, Inc., and the rest of the team for the well-deserved accolades last week!

Last Thursday, KJG was proud to sponsor Hole #16 at the BAGL BASH Golf Outing! ⛳️

This year’s theme was “Vegas, Baby!” Christy & Kaitlyn braved the rain, wind, and heat to spend the day connecting with golfers and fellow sponsors.

It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with so many great people and being part of such a fun event. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Located near Purdue University’s campus, Monterey Apartments is a five-story, 67,854-square-foot residential building designed to provide contemporary student living. Opened in 2024, the development offers a range of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans. The first floor provides an open parking garage, leasing lounge, and fitness room, while the second-floor features an outdoor roof courtyard that opens out to the street. The building’s modern architectural expression combines warm, light-toned masonry with contrasting balconies, blending into a contemporary facade inspired by the architecture and beaches of Monterey, California.

Congratulations to the Wesley Foundation at Purdue on the ribbon cutting of their brand-new Student Center! This 22,623-square-foot facility provides a welcoming space for students to gather, connect, meet, and live in community. Escher Apartments is a five-story, newly constructed multifamily residential building completed in 2025. The property contains 32 units consisting of one- and two-bedroom floor plans, with units located on the four upper floors. The ground floor is primarily configured as an open, covered parking garage. The building encompasses approximately 36,966 square feet. Inspired by the building’s namesake, a prominent vertical façade element incorporates a distinctive geometric, three-dimensional pattern in blue-green, gray, and orange tones, creating a strong architectural focal point.
