Our company is looking for some Tree Trimmers to join our team. In this role, you will remove and trim trees on behalf of various clients. You must feel comfortable operating power tools such as chainsaws, aerial lifts, and chippers. Our ideal applicant is a certified ISA arborist, but not required. You will use rigging to climb trees safely, so you should also have at least two years of tree climbing experience to start out climbing. A skills test will be administered to determine eligibility and pay level. If you do not want to climb, we have grounds men positions as well. All applicants must pass a drug test and background check.

Tree Trimmer Duties and Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees
• Use rigging to climb and trim trees safely
• Remove broken branches or limbs from roofs or other structures
• Inspect trees for signs of damaging pests
• Safely use heavy equipment
• Remove brush, trimmings, and other debris
• Explain tree care techniques to property owners
• Assist with traffic control if necessary

Tree Trimmer Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or 18 years of age
• ISA arborist certification preferred but not required
• Tree climbing experience (2-4 years) for higher pay. No experience necessary to start and willing to learn
• Familiar with power tools, including aerial lifts, chainsaws, and wood chippers
• Valid driver's license
• Physical stamina is a must. It’s a hard job & we need people that can handle a lot of physical labor

FUN TREE FACT OF THE DAY!

Planting trees near your home can help you save money on your electric bill!

Planting trees can save you up to 25% on your power bill. During the warmer months, they act as a shade and can keep your house up to 20 degrees cooler. During the cooler months, they act as a wind break and keep your home warmer.

It’s that time of year again! ☀️

Trees are starting to bloom out and soon fruit trees will be full of fruit. Trimming them now would stunt them or even possibly kill them, but late fall or early winter is the best time to trim/ top a tree (specially one that bares fruit). Casey’s grandma passed away, my mom passed away, Casey’s mom passed away, my dad passed away and it’s been a crazy little while for us. I’m sorry if there’s been estimate appointments we have missed. That’s still no excuse for the rude emails we have received. Some people have no compassion. We have tried to make sure everyone has been called and rescheduled. I am fed up with rude people.
