When a community grows, planning for where rain and snowmelt go is just as important as planning for new roads and homes.

As part of Swanville's new residential development, a stormwater pond was constructed to help manage runoff from rain and snowmelt. By collecting and temporarily storing water, the pond helps reduce flooding, protect roads and utilities, and improve water quality before runoff leaves the site.

Every day, students will walk through the Moore Engineering Skyway on their way to classes, labs, study sessions, and future careers. Connecting NDSU's new Richard Offerdahl Engineering Complex to the Memorial Union, the skyway creates a pathway that will serve students, faculty, and visitors for years to come.

Years of traffic and wear eventually take their toll on any roadway.

Partnering with the Cities of Moorhead and Dilworth, Moore Engineering helped transform the 34th Street corridor from 4th Avenue S to 3rd Avenue N through a comprehensive reconstruction project that replaced deteriorating pavement and aging infrastructure. Years of planning, design, and construction led to a corridor that is now more durable, accessible, and efficient for the community.

The project included new concrete pavement, sidewalks, ADA-accessible curb ramps, and roadway improvements designed to enhance accessibility, connectivity, and traffic flow. Adjustments to access points and intersections also helped create a more efficiently functioning roadway for motorists, pedestrians, and nearby businesses.

It's a milestone moment for engineering education in North Dakota.

We celebrated the ribbon-cutting and dedication of the Richard Offerdahl Engineering Complex at NDSU. The new building gives tomorrow's engineers advanced lab space, plus collaborative work, study, and social areas.

The Moore Engineering Skyway now connects the complex to the heart of campus. Moore Engineering and Vistal made this sponsorship possible, with strong personal support from current and former employees who care deeply about NDSU and our firms.

We're honored to share in a commitment to advancing engineering education, creating opportunities for students, and strengthening the future workforce across our region.
