🏗️ Building what’s next for Des Moines. A new Holiday Inn Express is taking shape on Fleur Drive, and Wolf is proud to have our Iowa Framing Division playing a part in bringing it to life.
Our crew is handling the wood framing for the new hotel, which will feature 102 guest rooms and add another piece to the continued growth and development of the Fleur Drive corridor. (Pictured: 👍Jayce Hall and Joe Galloway👍)
We’re working alongside Pro Commercial, the project’s General Contractor, to turn the plans into reality — and on the ground making it happen is Tony Shaver, Wolf’s foreman, leading the framing crew and keeping the project moving.
It takes a good team to turn a set of plans into a building. We’re proud of the Wolf team putting their craftsmanship into another project right here in our hometown. 💪🔨

🎥 Behind the Build: Makita Tools USA | Part Two
Round two… and we’re still “shooting” nail guns! 🔨🎥😉
After a morning with Makita Tools USA at The Loop in Urbandale, the crew headed downtown Des Moines for Part Two—this time hanging out with our Wolf Trim Division at the Financial Center Apartments.
Ethan Castillo, crew lead, stepped in front of the camera to show off the work, with Project Manager Evan O’Leary helping call the shots from behind the scenes. 📸🎬
It was a great afternoon of finish carpentry, plenty of nail gun action and a whole lot of fun with the crew.

We love getting the chance to show what the Wolf Pack does every day—and the people, craftsmanship and tools behind the build.
Thanks again to Toshi and Jesse with Makita for spending the day with us!

🎥 Behind the Build: Makita Tools USA Makita Tools USA | Part One | We're "shooting" nail guns (& circular saws), on site at The Loop project in Urbandale!
We had a fun day on the job with the video and photography crew (Jesse & Toshi!) from Makita Tools USA. Scott Wagner, Iowa Framing Foreman, stepped in as our on-camera talent, putting Makita nail guns and circular saws through their paces while showing what these tools look like in the hands of the Wolf Pack.
We love opportunities like this to showcase our people, our work and the tools that help us get the job done right. 🐺🔨

And this was just Part One! In the afternoon, the Makita crew followed us downtown Des Moines to one of our finish carpentry projects.
