Introducing Cordelia Collinson, the new Extension Agent for Chester County! Cordelia is from northern Virginia and was first introduced to agriculture through a summer camp on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. This experience sparked her passion for agriculture, leading her to pursue an education in soil and plant sciences. Before joining Penn State Extension, Cordelia worked in agricultural consulting, research, and youth education, including roles in Southeast Pennsylvania.

As an Extension Agent she will work with producers and community partners throughout Chester County, connecting them with Extension resources and educational programs. Her responsibilities include providing support and technical assistance to producers, identifying local agricultural needs, developing educational opportunities, and building relationships with the agricultural community.

She looks forward to meeting you and serving the agricultural community of Chester County! Please feel free to contact her through phone, email, or a visit to our county office.

This storm brewing may leave us feeling like we aren't in Kansas anymore, but we are using our brains, braving it and sharing our love of plants with you by moving the sale indoors! We may trade our ruby slippers for rainboots tomorrow but we have lots of plants thinking that this rain is great and there's no place like (your) home.
Come out and check out the assortment of perennials, shrubs, trees and house plants at great prices!!
Set your alarm ⏰ 9am to 4pm

See you tomorrow!
Fun fact, the wild native sunflower (Helianthus) is the state flower of Kansas!
