Check out this piece of +- 200 year old wooden waterline we dug out in Sheldon as we are laying a new sewerline.
It doesn't look like much, but its a really neat piece of history.
Wooden waterline were the first waterlines used in colonial times.
Their use was from the late 1700's to the mid 1800's.
This one was probably from sometime in the early 1800's as it was banded, and treated.
Cools stuff!

A quick culvert replacement project in Weathersfield as we wrap up a project in Newport, and transition to our next pipe job for the season in Sheldon.

Pictures of connecting the new sewer siphon
into the existing sewerline.
Had to excavate to and around the existing 12" AC sewerline, and dig 4 ft below it in order to form and pour a concrete base for a new manhole to sit on.
We installed that manhole once the concrete was set, and connected the new sewer line into the existing one.

We were 15 ft below the river level, pumping 200-300 gallons a minute of running groundwater 24 hours a day for a week to get this work done!
It came out great! The crew nailed this one!

Some pictures of our ongoing project at Gardner park in Newport.
Installing a new sewer siphon under the Clyde river, and connecting 12" sewerlines to the existing.
12-14 feet below the river on both sides.
Pumping 200 gallons a minute of groundwater to get this system installed. Treating all that groundwater for arsenic, pfas chemicals, and heavy metals due to contamination at the site.

This one is the real deal. Not for the faint of heart.

Reset some curb and poured a bit of sidewalk on State St in Montpelier to repair the area after a watermain break.
Big jobs or little jobs we provide high quality results every time!

We turned this 3 season camp into a year round property. We started by digging down to remove unsuitable soils, then forming and pouring concrete footings. We then built insulated walls to enclose the space underneath the building. We added v***r barrier underneath, and rebuilt the rotting deck that we had to remove in order to access all sides.
This one was a lot of hand work with little to no headroom along 1/2 of the underside. Literally laying on our stomachs to get it done in places.
The customer had been turned down by multiple other contractors due to the nature of the project.
We do the hard jobs others won't!

Some 12" and 14" waterline repairs we completed for the City of Montpelier in February.
The crew worked through some late nights, and wintery weather to keep the water flowing!
