A local business in Verona, NJ wanted more lighting in their new employee shower, also more music!

Found this new product with great features to make the shower area fun!
- three different lighting colors 4000K White, a bright orange and a fun blue
- a good exhaust fan for steam and heat
- The bluetooth speaker feature is my favorite, and was very easy to setup

Installed a Tesla car charger for a customer in Florham Park, NJ!
This customer decided to embrace the electric vehicle trend. So this charger is speced to draw a maximum of 48 amps of electricity.
I had to run a new circuit from their main service panel to their garage. It was about a 95 foot wire run through their basement, then about 45 feet of metal conduit on the exterior of the home to bring that new circuit into the garage.

Customer in West Caldwell, NJ wanted over head lighting in their first floor living room.

They chose 6” LED round recessed fixtures with dimming control. These lights are 800 lumens each, so four fixtures was plenty to illuminate this room’s square footage. (Lumens is a brightness rating)

The home owner also wanted a warmer color light so I set the fixture color to 3000K, which is a soft white with a very faint yellow tint. Their living room gets a lot of sun light, so to choose a brighter white, like a 4000K (Bright White) would not benefit them.

Phase one of a basement remodel in Holmdel, NJ!
This customer wants a sheet rock ceiling in their basement so we had to reroute all of the copper pipes for their heating zones and domestic water lines.
To keep the pipes above the bottom of the joists we redirected the copper lines through the floor joists or ran along the walls where the carpenter can build out soffits.
Phase two will be moving and rerouting the electrical pipes. More pictures on the way!

Service call for a boiler heating system. The customer was having issues with the second floor radiators not heating.

Issues I found;
- There was air trapped in the radiators, blocking water to flow through the radiator.
- The shut off valve, that diverts water to the drain port, had failed. This prevented me from purging air from the entire system.

While purging the system of air I noticed the water in the system was completely black, full of dirt and sentiment. This boiler has not been serviced in years and definitely subtracted a few years of life off this system.

Once the air was removed, the second floor radiators were heating like new.

Received a service call yesterday for outdoor site lighting not working. Turns out another contractor installed additional piping underground for another use and installed that new piping near the existing lighting conduit. They must have cut into the pipe by mistake and left it. It was a ticking time bomb for that 277 volt lighting circuit.

Had a few helpers on a service call today in North Caldwell, NJ. Finished right in time before the snow storm!

Their circulator pump seized up and stoped running. This caused their furnace gas burners to only kick on for a few minutes then shut down for high limit temperature.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Check your furnaces and boilers for leaks or corrosion on a yearly basis. Neglect to your heating systems can cause expensive headaches.

We had a service call today, in Woodland Park NJ, for a severe pipe corrosion, and water dripping on top of their boiler.

Repaired piping for the boiler main water feed
-Backflow preventer was completely clogged with dirt and sediment, that was replaced
-Pressure regulator has worn down and was not providing the boiler with enough water pressure, that was replaced
-Piping from the back flow preventer to the vertical feed stack was replaced with new black steel pipe
-Replaced the air vent cylinder as well
