Locating the top edge of a slope leading to Lake Michigan, Mequon.

Erosion is a big concern for some property owners along Lake Michigan. Waves and rain wear down the bluff until large chunks of land fall down onto the shoreline and are washed away. Property owners can use mitigation efforts to help stabilize the bluff allowing trees and other vegetation to take root and stabilize it naturally.

Good Morning from a property located on Big Cedar Lake, Washington Co.

Might be hard to see but directly above the rear wheels of my truck in the Pine Tree is an Eagles Nest. The pair of Eagles were flying around bringing sticks back to the nest all morning.

Found a property corner near what I can only assume to be a natural hot spring.

Everyone has been familiar with our weather. Mostly sub freezing for the last couple weeks.

Recently completed Plat of Survey of Saint Lawrence Church property in St. Lawrence.

Sign reads

“Congregation of Saint Lawrence was organized in 1846 and one of the oldest Roman Catholic parishes in Washington County.”

Enjoyed the historical aspect of this survey. Reading and understanding older documents along with locating and mapping historical buildings.

Completed a job last week that I had been looking forward to for the last couple months.

Was asked to as-built and verify the Potawatomi Area Boy Scout Association Rifle Range at Camp Long Lake.

Locate spot elevations necessary to create a 1' Topography map of the area.

Maps intended use is to verify berm dimensions and compare existing site conditions to regulation standards.
