That powdery white appearance may be efflorescence, which can occur when moisture carries naturally occurring minerals to the surface and leaves them behind as the moisture evaporates.

It’s especially common with newer pavers, but it can occur whenever moisture is present. And before reaching for a harsh cleaner, remember—the wrong product can do more harm than good! 🧱
