Today, we celebrate the hardworking people who show up every day, take pride in what they do, and help keep our businesses and communities moving.

At Blades, hard work is at the heart of who we are. One of our core values is Doing Whatever It Takes — going above and beyond to get the job done right and support our customers, our teammates, and our company.

But Labor Day is also a reminder that the people behind the work matter. ❤️

We are incredibly thankful for our Blades team and the long days, early mornings, dedication, professionalism, and accountability they bring to the job. Our trucks and equipment may carry the Blades name, but our people are what truly represent it.

In observance of Labor Day, our office will be closed Monday, September 7, so our team can enjoy a well-deserved day with their families.

We will reopen Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00 AM and look forward to serving you then.

Today we’re celebrating Rylie’s 1-year anniversary with Blades of Steel Landscaping! ❤️

Over the past year, Rylie has stepped into the role of Account Success Manager and truly made it her own. From building relationships with our clients, keeping properties moving in the right direction, helping grow our accounts, and being the connection between our clients and operations — she has become such an important part of what we do every day.

❄️ Last week, our Account Success Manager, Rylie, had the opportunity to attend the 29th Annual Snow & Ice Symposium in Cincinnati, Ohio, and what an incredible week it was!

We’re proud to share that Rylie was selected as a recipient of the Alan Steiman Scholarship through the SIMA Foundation, an honor that supports the next generation of leaders in the snow and ice management industry.

Throughout the week, Rylie attended educational seminars covering a wide range of topics designed to strengthen our snow and ice operations, improve efficiency, and help us continue providing the highest level of service to our clients. From operational strategies to leadership and risk management, every session brought back valuable insights that will benefit our team and the properties we care for.

In addition to the education, she had the opportunity to network with industry professionals from across the United States and Canada, exchanging ideas and building relationships with some of the best in the business.
