🌿A great project doesn't always start with a clean slate-it starts with a plan
Over the last five months, we've been steadily chipping away at this property, helping the property owner reclaim land that had become overrun with honeysuckle and Russian olive - two invasive species that are eligible for removal through an NRCS grant.
Before we started, we sat down with the property owner to discuss goals, budget, and the best approach to maximize the value of the grant. Together, we decided on a rough mulch, which allowed us to complete the project more efficiently while keeping costs down.
A rough mulch means you'll typically see:
✔️Some vines and small brush remaining
✔️Larger mulch than a traditional finish
While the mulch isn't as finely mulched as a finish mulch, it's a great option when the primary goal is removing invasive species and reclaiming acreage. This allows us to to work more efficiently and significantly reduce the overall cost of the project.
By taking advantage of our per-acre pricing on larger projects, this customer was able to have each acre cleared for less than $1,000. Combined with the rough mulch approach, this allowed them to make the most of their NRCS funding while transforming their property and eliminating invasive species.
We understand that each project is different, which is why we work with each property owner to figure out the best approach that fits their goals and budget. Whether you're looking for a clean finish or need to reclaim your property like this customer, we'll help you choose the best solution that's right for your property.
