A step that’s often overlooked in a quality install (in our opinion) is the application of an insulation burrier in the interior to exterior pe*******on.

2 key reason for foam insulation in wall pe*******on holes.

1. Best coverage for potential air that may try to seep through the hole in inclement weather hot or cold 🔥/❄️.

2. Deter any insects or rodents that may try to weasel their way into the structure through the harsh climates.

The photos you see were shared from a contractor from a heat pump installation they encounter in the past. Needless to say they were not impressed nor satisfied with the end results…

Be sure to take the time and research install history and previous work. Recommendations and referrals are always a plus! But like the saying goes the “proofs in the pudding”, don’t be afraid to ask for previous installation photos.

We’d like to point out the last photo. To some it may just look like a drain outlet, but if the finer details of even the smallest of things that make for a great clean install. Take notice to how the drain outlets match the color of the lineage ducting. Those little details matter to us here at Perseverance Plumbing LLC!
