Are you wishing you had an island in your kitchen? Here are 3 key measurement to look at:

⚜️ Walkways - a minimum of 36 inches is a comfortable walkway on each side of the island, and 48 inches is even better if you have the space.

⚜️ Overhang - if you want seating at your island, 12 inches gives a sufficient amount of leg room but you could go as large as 15-18 inches if you add supports.

⚜️ Number of Seats - you can comfortably fit a seat every 24 inches. So an 8 foot island could fit 4 chairs.

For one of our clients, we repurposed a tree from their property to build custom design elements throughout their home. The wood was used to create a stunning kitchen hood, fireplace mantle, and to line the ceilings in the entryway and sunroom, adding both character and sentimental value.

Reconfiguring this bathroom allowed for more efficient use of space. We relocated the toilet and moved the shower to the back wall, creating a more functional flow. The addition of a new vanity, stunning tile, and a touch of wallpaper transformed this area into an elegant and inviting bathroom.

This client loves arches, but the original design of the home didn’t have any. So we had to get creative and find ways to incorporate them into the finishes.

✨Special Client Request✨

To add character and sentiment, our client chose to use wood from a tree on their property that had been struck by lightning. After kiln drying and milling the tree into planks, the wood will be finished and installed as an accent ceiling in their sunroom.
