🐄🐖 A First for BKS at the Lorain County Fair! 🐐🐑

This week, we had the opportunity to attend the Lorain County Fair livestock auctions for the very first time — and what an experience!

We went in hoping to support some of the hardworking local kids by purchasing an animal. While we didn’t end up with the winning bid during the auction, the day still had a pretty great ending.

Our friends at Keller Meats were kind enough to sell us one of the animals we had bid on, which meant we still got the chance to support a local exhibitor and bring home our very first fair purchase! ❤️

Seeing these kids walk their animals through the ring after months of feeding, caring for, training, and working with them really puts into perspective just how much time and dedication goes into these projects.

As a small, family-owned business right here in Wellington, supporting the people and families in our community means a lot to us. We’re grateful we were able to be a small part of the auction this year — and something tells us this won’t be our last! 😉

Congratulations to all of this year’s exhibitors! Your hard work definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.

🔨 OUR NEWEST BKS TEAM MEMBER NEEDS A NAME! 🧰

We’ve officially added a new face to the BKS Handyman of Wellington crew… and there’s just one problem:

He doesn’t have a name! 😂

Meet our new capybara mascot! He’s got his BKS hat on, his tools ready, and apparently he’s already decided he works here. Now we need YOU to help us give him the perfect name!
