A successful mold remediation doesn’t end when the work is finished—it ends when it’s verified.

Post-remediation verification (PRV) helps confirm that the work was completed properly and that steps were taken to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. Attention to detail matters.

On this project, the remediation contractor did an excellent job constructing containment around a challenging stairwell and elevator. That level of care helps protect the rest of the property while remediation is taking place and gives everyone confidence that the job was done right.

Water quality is a topic that gets a lot of attention, and rightfully so.

What many people don’t realize is the amount of testing, monitoring, and quality assurance that municipalities perform every day to help keep public drinking water safe. Even newly installed water lines must undergo bacteria testing before being placed into service.

That doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. Emerging contaminants like PFAS and microplastics are becoming a growing focus, but testing and treatment for these compounds can be complex and costly. Improving water quality is often a collaborative effort between regulators, utilities, scientists, and the public.

The goal isn’t just safe water today—it’s continuing to improve the systems that provide safe water for future generations.

Ballast water systems play a major role in keeping ships stable and balanced while traveling across the ocean.

Because this water is eventually discharged back into the environment, it’s important to test and monitor it for harmful bacteria and pollutants that could impact marine ecosystems. Proper ballast water management helps protect both vessel operations and the health of our oceans.

New construction mechanical and air quality inspection in Tequesta, Florida.

Before the ceiling is closed in, it’s important to evaluate HVAC layout, duct installation, insulation conditions, and potential indoor air quality concerns. Early inspections help identify issues that could affect comfort, moisture control, system performance, and long-term indoor environmental quality.

Every new water line placed into service must be tested for bacteria to help ensure the water remains safe for public use.

These tests are required by the Department of Health and play an important role in protecting drinking water systems before they are put into operation.

Full Spectrum Environmental provides bacteria line clearance testing throughout the state of Florida, helping contractors and utility projects stay compliant and keep projects moving efficiently.

Mold testing is about more than just collecting samples.

A good assessor should understand building science, moisture intrusion, HVAC systems, humidity, and how mold actually develops inside a home—not just what shows up in a lab result.

The inspection itself is often the most important part of the process. Finding the source and understanding why mold is present is what helps prevent the issue from coming back.
