💧 That little faucet drip you keep meaning to fix? At just one drip per second, it can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water in a year.

Take a minute this weekend to listen for drips around the house. It’s a small thing worth catching. 🔧

A damaged sewer manhole isn’t something to ignore. Left unrepaired, it can allow water and debris into the sewer system, contribute to backups, weaken the surrounding pavement and create a serious safety hazard.

Our crew repaired the manhole and restored the concrete around it—helping prevent a much larger and more expensive problem down the road.

❗️Attention Webster Residents ❗️

Heads up, Webster! 📢

The City is aware of temporary discoloration in the water distribution system following the significant rainfall events associated with last week’s Tropical Storm Edouard.

The high-intensity rainfall in the Trinity River Basin area resulted in elevated turbidity in the City’s raw water supply. While the water treatment process continued to treat the water effectively, these conditions can make naturally occurring materials and minerals in the water system more noticeable, resulting in temporary yellow or green discoloration in some areas of the distribution system.

The water remains safe to drink. The City has tested its finished drinking water, and current results confirm that water quality meets or exceeds applicable Texas regulatory standards. The City will continue monitoring water quality throughout the distribution system and will provide additional information if conditions change.

We appreciate our residents’ patience and understanding as we continue to maintain reliable, high-quality drinking water for the community.

❗️Attention League City Residents❗️

The City of League City is currently experiencing temporary water discoloration in portions of the water distribution system following the significant rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Edouard.

Heavy rainfall across the Trinity River Basin affected the quality of the source water supplied to the City of Houston’s (COH) Southeast Water Purification Plant (SEWPP) , which provides a significant portion of League City’s drinking water.

Although COH’s treatment process continues to operate effectively, these conditions may make naturally occurring materials and minerals more noticeable. As a result, some customers may temporarily notice yellow or brown discoloration or a slight change in the water’s odor.

League City’s drinking water remains safe to drink. Testing of the treated drinking water confirms that it meets or exceeds all applicable Federal and Texas drinking-water standards.

City staff will continue closely monitoring water quality throughout League City’s distribution system. Additional information will be provided if conditions change.

We appreciate our residents’ patience and understanding as we continue working to provide reliable, high-quality drinking water to the community.

We may have received a little rain last week…but was it enough? 🌧️

A brief shower can freshen up the lawn, but it may not undo the effects of weeks of hot, dry Texas weather. As the ground dries and shifts, underground water lines and connections can be placed under added stress.

Watch for these possible warning signs:

💧 An unexplained increase in your water bill
💧 A wet or unusually green patch in a dry yard
💧 Reduced water pressure
💧 A water meter that moves when everything is turned off

Your water bill may spot a hidden leak before you do.

Knight’s Plumbing has 45+ years of experience serving homeowners and businesses throughout Webster, League City, Clear Lake, Friendswood, Nassau Bay, Seabrook and Kemah.
