🐍 FIRST SNAKE OF THE SEASON! 🐍

Honestly, I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to find the first one.

Did it surprise me? Yes.
Did I have a small heart attack? Also yes. 😂

I’m perfectly fine with snakes—as long as I see them first. It’s when they come popping out of the bushes unannounced that we have problems.

Pretty sure the last person in my family to get surprised by something coming out of thick vegetation like that was my uncle in Vietnam… and I don’t believe he enjoyed it much either. 🇺🇸😂

Anyway, snake went his way, I went mine, and my heart rate has returned to somewhere below hummingbird.
