This goes to show my grandfather wasn't lying when he said, " good labor isn't cheap, and cheap labor isn't good."

Quick question for the group...could I please get any feedback from those who either own, manage or consistently use vacation rental services in this area about my ideas for this spa. This is a wood fired hot tub that's meant to be used and then emptied after each use and has no jets, temp readout or moving water so it's mainly a soaking tub. I will customize this with an auxiliary heater that can keep the temperature once the wood fire has heated it and allow you to use the water "chemical free" for up to a week at a time. My idea is it would allow for a faster turnover when it's time to clean it and who doesn't want to get in a cedar hot tub??? Thanks in advance from anyone who gives their input!

This was by far one of the hardest repairs I've made to date. This customer's spa was accidentally cemented in place to the wall that was built around it causing it to be completely stuck in place. We were able to do a complete retrofit on the tubs electronics because I was just able to get in there and get the old one out. I will say the very hardest thing about this whole repair was getting Leo to hold the camera and the flashlight to get the photo 🐕

Yesterday's repairs were absolutely egg-cellent!! Sometimes a tub is sunk into a deck, but just ask her, I'm not chicken to work on it! I've seen many things that weren't supposed to be in a hot tub over the years, but this one is definitely my "golden egg"!

Edit to add: If you look close enough, you'll see the hen on the left. She found a prime laying spot and didn't seem too happy I was there to work on it.

This spa is dropped in a deck, barely leaving only enough room to remove the panel and diagnose the problem. The fitting in the red circle was leaking due to a failed glue joint and was spraying water as the 2nd pump ran. Instead of having the homeowner have the spa removed from the hole to do the repairs, I was able to squeeze in the allotted area and make the repair. If I can fit my hands or head in, I will make the repair! Give me a call today!!

Here's a before and after on a deep clean I did today at one of my vacation rental customers. Purging the plumbing of bacteria in between guests is always the best way to keep your hot tubs internal equipment in its best shape. What you see in the 3rd picture is a build up of biofilm that was trapped where you can't see inside the pipes. Give me a call today if your spa is ready for a deep clean and I'll be happy to help!
