We are growing and would like to add another two to our crews, we have a really high demand this year and want to stay on schedule as much as the weather will allow….
Job description is very diverse, one day you could be framing, next day could be roofing, next day could be siding, interior trim, flooring, etc. we have some jobs over an hour away at times so driving is definitely part of the job.
This is an hourly, payrolled position, no cash!!
Requirements are a Driver’s license and own transportation, (If your mode of transportation is your girlfriend, wife, Mom, whoever, then this will not be for you, it NEVER works…), good work ethic, willing to work on the weekends if needed. Experience is definitely a plus but not needed if able and willing to learn. Pay based on experience and can be negotiated. If no experience you will start at $18 per hour with a performance evaluation at the end of two weeks.
Applicant must be able to have their own hand tools, (hammer, tool belt, knife, chalk line, tape measure, and square) will help to get some of these if experience is zero.
This is a hard labor position, must be able to lift heavy objects, not afraid of heights, you will get cuts and bruises DAILY and will not be able to leave early just from a little blood… This is a construction job….. (obviously if it needs stitches it may be an exception but most deep cuts can be fixed on the job with water and electrical tape..)
Splinters are also a common everyday occourence and not a reason to go home for the day. You could have multiple deep splinters at any given time… unfortunately this needs to be mentioned…
You must be able to handle being outside the entire day in very cold and extremely hot conditions.
This job can be very rewarding and satisfying at the end of a good work day, you can go home feeling confident and proud of what you’ve accomplished at the end of the day, your attitude greatly determines how much you will enjoy the job!
This job can make you extremely tough and durable, or it can tear you down, you will find out very quickly what you are made out of!!
