We love when we get a chance to use wood elements in our projects.. (Epay wood, also known as Ipe (pronounced “ee-pay”), is an extremely dense, durable, tropical hardwood from South America, prized for its natural resistance to rot, insects, and fire, making it a premium choice for long-lasting outdoor projects like decks, boardwalks, and docks, though it’s tough to work with and costly. It’s often called Brazilian Walnut and has a rich brown color, sinking in water due to its density. )
