Get to know more about the owners of Security Blanket, Charlie & Jessica Moore.
Charlie is a native of Waycross and worked with the late Buddy Adams ~30 years ago with the luxurious job of crawling in itchy attics in the heat of summer. He married Buddy’s youngest daughter, Jessica and they have 5 girls--twins and triplets--and one aggravating dog (Charlie's only son). They are honored to work in the family business that Buddy started in 1978 and hope to serve the community for years to come.
Jessica Adams Moore is the youngest daughter of Judith and Buddy Adams, the founders of Security Blanket. Jessica studied music education at Valdosta State University and taught chorus at Ware County High School before staying at home with her twin AND triplet girls for 14 years. (No, you didn’t misread that). Jessica married Charlie 28 years ago, and unlike the normal hatred of family being able to work together, they really love the chance to work together (as long as he keeps in mind who’s the REAL BOSS)! Jessica loves to sing, listen to, and watch true crime stories, and sleep in her 15 minutes of spare time that she has each day. Jessica is excited to continue to walk in her father’s footsteps in the family business.
