CO received—what happens next?

Receiving a Certificate of Occupancy is an exciting milestone, but it doesn’t automatically mean it’s time to move in. There are still final steps to prepare your home for a thoughtful handoff:

• Final details and punch-list items
• Professional cleaning
• Your walkthrough and home orientation
• Closing, final paperwork, and payments
• Warranty information and key handoff

We’ll walk you through your home’s systems, maintenance, and how to connect with our warranty company should something arise. GCH remains a point of contact, and we also provide a one-year walkthrough.

Before scheduling movers, confirm your possession date with our team.

The final details are part of building a home with purpose.

1010 Cane Manor has found its future homeowners, and we couldn’t be more excited to see this one enter its final chapter.

This home is still in the finishing stages, with the details, layers, and craftsmanship continuing to come together before completion. From the exterior selections to the final interior touches, every element has been intentionally considered to create a home that feels refined, warm, and truly special.

It may look finished, but there’s still a lot happening behind the scenes before we can hand over the keys. ✨

At this stage, we’re starting up and testing the home’s systems, completing final punch-list items, passing required inspections, and working through the final approvals needed to obtain the Certificate of Occupancy.

It’s that last stretch where everything is checked, tested, polished, and confirmed — so the home isn’t just beautiful, it’s truly ready.

This is where the home begins to reveal itself.

The architecture is established, the spaces are defined, and now the layers that give a home its character begin to take shape — natural materials, considered finishes, tailored cabinetry, lighting and details chosen with intention.

Nothing is added simply to fill a space. Every selection is meant to feel collected, enduring and at home within the architecture.

This is the stage where a home starts to feel real. 🤍

The foundation is in, the framing is up, and suddenly the rooms, views, and spaces you’ve been imagining begin to take shape.

It’s also the messy middle—full of trades, materials, adjustments, questions, and a lot happening all at once. It may not be the prettiest phase of the build, but so much of what makes a home exceptional is happening right here.
