Today is the day!!!!

If you are looking for a family friendly fun filled day stop on in to 5 Acres RC Racing, full day of fun on tap with bounce houses, food truck, vendors, door prizes, raffles, and loads of fast paced racing action on the mini concrete palace!

This is a free to watch event!!!! Yes no cover charge to come and hang out! Donations are always welcome to the track as these guys have given us a great local place to have fun! Stop out and see what all the hype is about, they even have rentals available to try out the fun before you go all in and buy your own. Where else can you spend less than $50 and have a day filled with fun and laughs? (Rental ride cost is less than $50 per class. Pretty sure you can’t go bowling for that price anymore!)

We are happy to be a part of this amazing event these guys are putting on! We always hear everyone in town complain there’s nothing to do, well here’s your chance to get out of the house. Never raced, never watched an RC race, do you like good food, lots of laughs? Stop on down and check it out! Nick and Monica have rentals available to try it out, or just check out the food truck, bounce house, vendors and say hi to someone new! We can’t wait to see everyone there!

This week we are going to have a little fun! Recently we(my youngest son and I) got back into racing RC cars. I noticed in the couple race events we have been at that there are many kids in the novice rookie class that don’t have their own cars or are sharing cars with friends, family, etc to be able to have fun and hang out… While it’s great to see them outside or away from a computer or phone screen I’d like to help the out a bit more and get a few of them their own cars!!!

That being said! This week I will be using any and all TIPS, and we will be taking donations from any of our friends and followers to help make this happen!!!!! We would like to raise enough funds to help get a nice prize pool together for the championship night of the 2 series currently ongoing. I will be reaching out to the track owners and make sure we can get this put together and help make a few cool kids happy!

I’ll post a link to our Venmo account if anyone would like to donate to this cause please feel free! All donations to Venmo please include in the note funds are for “Kids RC fund”. All funds received will go directly to the kids by means of prizes, new car, tires, parts, store credit at the track, etc. If anyone is interested in donating in any other form, cash, check etc please reach out to me via messenger.

Every little bit helps and 100% of any funds raised will go directly to helping a youth 12 and under in their RC racing!

Apparently our original Venmo link was not working. If anyone helps out PLEASE!!! Make sure the note has RC fundraiser to make it easier for me to manage on my end.

Happy Labor Day to all of our followers!

While we are taking the day off of mowing any of our residential clients, I will be out trying to keep the schedule running smooth this week. I won’t be interrupting any cook outs don’t worry… I have plenty of wide open space to get mowed at The New Chemung Speedrome - presented by ELM Chevy after a week off to get everything back into shape for Friday Night!!!!

Quick little side bar from Lawncare shenanigans!

Just a little highlight for our local followers here in the Valley and surrounding areas as we want to give a shout out to new local business, attraction, or heck just something to do with the kids!! Yes the kids!!!!

Go check out what these guys have done at 5 Acres RC Racing in Chemung. We had the pleasure of joining in on the fun today and these kids, young and adult! Had smiles on faces all day! Nick and Monica even have rental cars available to try it out if you’re new to the fun before you invest any extra money!
