Hawks recently completed a stunning nighttime transformation of this Wauwatosa home! ✨
Bright LED wash lights along the foundation, up-lighting on select plants, and carefully placed path lights extend the beauty of the landscape well beyond sunset. No matter the season, landscape lighting adds warmth, dimension, and year-round interest to this outdoor space. 🌿💡

Success! Our rain garden at the Muskego sensory garden project finally got a real-world test. After nearly a month without measurable rain, more than 2 inches fell in a single day. The rain garden filled just as designed and had completely infiltrated into the soil by the next morning!
The newly seeded areas are also filling in beautifully, thanks to the temporary irrigation system—and the recent rainfall gave everything an extra boost. It's exciting to see this project coming to life!

We're putting the finishing touches on our sensory garden project in Muskego! Grading, topsoil, and seeding are complete, the plants are in, and the beds are freshly mulched.
A special thank you to our friends at Lakeland Sprinkler for installing a large temporary irrigation system to keep the newly seeded areas well-watered during establishment. So far, it's working beautifully, and it won't be long before our crews are back out mowing the new lawn!

The planting phase is complete at our sensory garden project in Muskego! As part of the project, we designed and installed a small rain garden to meet the Green Infrastructure requirements of MMSD to help reduce stormwater runoff.
Set slightly lower than the surrounding landscape, the rain garden is filled with an engineered blend of sand and organic soils to promote water infiltration and improve drainage. The space is now coming to life with a beautiful collection of colorful, pollinator-friendly plants including Coneflowers, Butterfly W**d, False Indigo, Prairie Dropseed, and many more.
We can't wait to watch this garden grow and thrive in the seasons ahead!
