Boyers Construction is growing and looking to add a Residential Project Manager to our team!
Role Overview
As the Residential Project Manager, you aren't just overseeing a site; you are managing the entire lifecycle of a home. You will act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, coordinate a diverse group of subcontractors, and lead a team of laborers to success. This is a hands-on role that requires a balance of administrative precision, technical expertise, and people management.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Oversight: Manage the entire scope of work, including plans, logistics, materials, and equipment.
• Customer Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and provide regular updates on project timelines and changes.
• Field Leadership: Conduct on-site visits to ensure quality control, manage on-site production, and coordinate subcontractors.
• Personnel Management: Supervise residential laborers, providing guidance and conducting performance reviews.
• Administrative Excellence: Assist with state permitting, maintain project schedules, assist with invoicing, and provide weekly progress reports to the owner.
• Project Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, including phase-by-phase project photos and site cleanliness logs.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years of Residential Project Management experience is preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Mathematical Aptitude: Ability to apply practical concepts like fractions, percentages, and ratios to site estimations.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly to management, clients, and vendors.
• Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record and the ability to travel in Northwest Ohio 80% of the time to various job sites.
