There wasn't a big "AH HA" moment. I just knew I wanted to build something bigger 💪

I was working a 9-5 job that had me up in the Northwoods almost every day, and I wanted more flexibility. I wanted to stay closer to home, take on my own work, and have control. So, we started doing more side jobs. At first, there wasn't even a brand attached to any of it. Just me and a few guys willing to work 🔥

Looking back, just like my graduation speech, saying "yes" to something before I felt ready became a theme. I didn't have every answer when I started Backyard Boys, but I knew I wanted to create a brand people could trust, and eventually provide opportunities for other people too. One step, one customer, and one decision at a time 💯
