It’s starting to look like a building! 🏗️

Construction is moving along at the ! With the footings and foundations complete, the new addition is beginning to take shape.

Structural steel is now going up, marking an exciting next step as the addition becomes more visible on site. Next up, our crews will continue steel installation, followed by roof decking and trusses.

Samuels Group was proud to spend a beautiful day on the course supporting and celebrating our local veterans. We’re grateful to be part of this special event that helps send veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor and share the experience with fellow veterans.

In his new role, Mike provides leadership and oversight across our Iowa office operations, financial, human resources, customer service, and project functions. He works closely with our leadership team, project teams, field personnel, customers, subcontractors, and vendors to strengthen processes, maintain accountability, and help keep our projects and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

We’re making great progress on the Sokaogon Chippewa Community Chief Willard Ackley Memorial Community Flex Facility, Museum, and Health Clinic Expansion!

The project is in its final stages, with landscaping beginning this week and asphalt paving scheduled for next week.

A special feature of the project is the “First Here to Serve, Always Remembered” Veterans Memorial, which honors all those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The memorial includes four flags representing the:
• Sokaogon Chippewa Community
• United States of America
• State of Wisconsin
• POW/MIA

Six round plaques recognize each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, while the memorial wall also includes nameplates honoring tribal members who have passed away.

We’re looking forward to seeing the final pieces come together and sharing more as the project nears completion!
