Job Description

- Independent Electric is an established and fast growing company that is need of a Full Time Office Manager / Administrator. Position is for immediate start. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong work ethic, attention to detail, good organizational skills who has experience in working in a small construction based office.
- As our office manager / administrator job duties include
o Processing weekly payroll
o Billing / invoicing customers per direction from owner
o Producing Lien Waivers and working with title companies
o Assisting owners with receivables / collections
o Working with insurance provider to provide insurance requirements to contractors and villages (requesting bonds and certificates of insurance)
o Inputting supplier invoices into quickbooks
o Answer incoming calls & e-mails; addressing customer needs directly and/or referring calls to the appropriate manager.
o Office filing
o Keeping track of and organizing project folders
o Printing plans & bid invitations, ordering and maintaining office supplies,
o Work with field staff to collect daily time sheets and ensure they are completed with accuracy.

Qualifications:
- Quickbook Experience
- Ability to learn new software quickly and take initiative with limited supervision
- Construction office experience a plus
- Computer literacy a must, ability to work with and use Microsoft word, excel and quickbooks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Notary a plus

Electrical contractor looking to hire full time electrical foreman and electricians in a fast paced environment. Looking for motivated, reliable electricians who take pride in their work and are committed to safety for long term commitment with growing company. Work to include mostly new construction residential and some commercial at multiple jobsites throughout Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, and McHenry counties. Hourly rate based on experience in the electrical field.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience in electrical field (Foreman)
- Well-versed in the NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Reading and understanding blueprints (Foreman)
- Valid Driver's License
- Communicate well with customers, contractors, co-workers and management
- Organized
- Must have own hand tools
Responsibilities:
- Planning of residential construction projects (Foreman)
- Training, assigning, scheduling, and overseeing employees (Foreman)
- Maintaining safe and secure work environment
- Electrical layout, conduit bending, pulling wire, troubleshooting
- Ordering and scheduling material (Foreman)
