IDOT has awarded Iroquois Paving Corporation the Designed overlay and pedestrian ramp (ADA) project. Consisting of asphalt surface removal, pavement patching, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, concrete sidewalk removal replacement, resurfacing with asphalt binder course and asphalt surface course, pavement markings. The improvement is in the Cities of Braidwood and Wilmington in Will County. Congratulations!

Iroquois County: Work is underway on I-57 from the Buckley interchange (Exit 272) to the Ford County line. The project includes patching and resurfacing and Main Line Station Rest Area lot, plus bridge repairs at Highway 10 over I-57 and I-57 over Spring Creek and Louis Creek.

Work on northbound lanes begins this year, shifting to southbound lanes in spring 2026. This $30.6 million project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Expect lane closures and delays. http://prez.ly/GMtd
