Friday May 29, 2026 ~ plumbing lights, polybox riser. More backfill and filling pool.

Back on Monday as pool will be full to do autocover track around pool and polybox. Then it will be time for some flowable fill underneath steps and tanning ledge.

Wednesday May 27, 2026 ~ arrival of the Illusion 40 ft fiberglass pool. (15.5 x 40).
1st day ~ placement of pool, cutting in skimmer, return, lights. Backfilling and filling
2nd day ~ placed plugs in skimmer, return, placement of autocover polybox
and sump pit. Along with more Backfilling and filling pool.

Some early moring rain Wednesday but then nice, nice, nice

Wednesday and Thursday May 20 & 21, 2026 ~

Herscher, Limestone, Sterling, Danforth, Woodworth, Watseka, Hoopeston, and Cissna Park.

Pool openings, changing a muliport head, cleaning a hot tub, fix a leak in another hot tub.

On Wednesday a rooster did a sneak attack. We also drove to Sterling for a family graduation...... loooooooonngggg day.... but worth it ♥️

Some customers in the country experience so much wind that they stopped putting on winter covers. Can't blame them..... it is what it is.

Another day on the road opening pools.

Tuesday May 12, 2026 ~

Bourbonnais ~ Frankie and Charlie lent a helping paw to open the pool

Manteno ~ replace broken muliport head and broken fitting. Open pool

St Anne ~ Rudy supervised this pool opening. Love having fur babies around when opening pools.

Martinton ~ open pool

Watseka ~ open pool, replaced broken pump. The fur babies barked some inspirational messages from their fenced in yard.

Weather ~ cold, then warm with gusts of wind followed by some rain.

Pool openings all week. Today's route.....Monday May 11, 2026

Fowler, IN ~ pool opening

Rossville, IL ~ pool opening, chemical delivery

Tilton, IL ~ pool opening. Winston and Remmington were eager to get the pool open. They showered us with some love ❤️

Villa Grove, IL ~ closed a hot tub ~ drained and blew out lines on a hot tub. Landscaper trench through the electrical to hot tub 😢

Back to Tilton to work on pump that wasn't producing enough power after vacuumimg.

Friday May 8, 2026 ~ installed new lateral stand pipe in sand filter with glass media. Opened pool in Rensselaer, IN.

Swung by to check on a Royal Spa Hot tub in Brook, IN where the circulation pump wasn't working. Just needed new filters. The old filters were stopping the flow of water.

On to Kentland, IN to check on a hot tub and pool. New owners just purchased the property that had set empty for a year or more. Hot tub and pool hadn't been open for 2 seasons. Hot tub is beyond fixing. Pool is a concrete pool that needs to be repainted and equipment and plumbing needs to be rehabilitation. Will need to find someone who can sand blast the pool to repaint. To be continued.

Another pool opening to be done later. Homeowner, draining water from cover. Turns out she was draining water from pool instead (through the small weave openings on cover). Lots of leaves on cover.

Wednesday May 6, 2026 ~ changed where the backwash drain connects into drain due to too much pressure and it bubbles out of the top in the stand pipe the general contractor needs it to be open.

Set up robotic cleaner to help clean pool.
