Monday September 14, 2026 ~ post pour autocover delivered

Tuesday September 15, 2026 ~ post pour autocover installed. While I cleaned out the poly box, Jeff prepped the parts to size. We then placed the ropes inside the track to pull the fabric.

Wednesday September 16, 2026 ~ 🌧 rain delay.... 🌧 after the electrician ran wire and installed the switch, we made sure the cover opens and closes properly.

This project is complete.😍

Happy swim.🏊‍♂️

Autumn is my favorite season.

The warm days and cool nights. The beautiful colors of the changing season. Everything seems simple and less chaotic.

Perhaps it's a reminder that we survived another pool season of hustle, long hours, hot days, rain delays.

Though there are more days to keep splashing in the water outside in the sun making memories with family and friends........... Inside Illiana Backyard Fun, we are transforming the decor into another season.

Take a stroll through small town retail therapy inside Illiana Backyard Fun.

Wednesday July 15, 2026 ~ drove to Cullom, IL for a scheduled heater bypass service only to find out the contractors who were building a deck around the pool were there. Too many contractors on site, we rescheduled. 😢

On the way back to Watseka, received a call from homeowner that he would be at his vacation home in Onagra area (country) and asked us to open pool.

In the pool industry we have learned to go with the flow, be flexible and just get stuff done. 💖

Monday July 13, 2026 ~ pool had a small area settle in the excavation site. Before concrete got poured, we helped homeowner do a little intervention. I worked on cleaning waterline inside the pool while the boys worked on the outside. Plus, they needed someone to walk the tanning ledge. It was hot, hot, hot outside. I definitely had the easier task. We did drain water off the tanning ledge.

Concrete getting poured Friday July 24, 2026.
