Fresh off the floor at Pro-Dig: a Rapid Displacement auger, built start to finish in our shop.
Displacement tooling asks a lot of a fabricator. The lead head has to cut, the flighting has to feed, and the displacement body has to push soil out and hold it there — all while taking the torque and crowd force the rig can throw at it. Get the geometry wrong and you're either not displacing or you're stalling the drive.
When the tooling is right, the crew spends the day making holes instead of making excuses.
