Today we were able to knock out our biggest floor to date! A 64x50 pole barn floor in Vernon which took 56 yards of concrete! Might not be much to some but for a small crew who’s lucky enough to bring in some good friends and other contractors to come lend a hand, it’s definitely a nice thing! Thankful for all the help everyone’s always willing to give!

With the 2025 season coming to an end and us not sharing anything since spring time, I thought we’d share some of what we’ve been up to. As always, I’m thankful for the guys who come out to give us a hand whenever it needed. Myself and Dad couldn’t do it without you guys!

Big thanks to my main men Bryant Jones and Pauly Hollic who drop what theyre doing any time I need them and were basically there every demo/prep/pour this year.

And of course, my Father, who even at 69 years old doesn’t want to miss a thing. That guy is the real warrior who doesn’t want to retire even though we all joke with him that he’s slowed down in recent years.

Looking forward to next season!

We typically stick to “plain” old concrete but here are a couple stamp jobs we were lucky enough to take on this summer!

First up was a 15 yard, seamless slate pool deck in Waterville. Here we used plain colored concrete with a charcoal antique accent color! The home owner actually removed the old concrete around the pool and widened out the area for our forms. We then installed the crusher run base and a 12’ trench drain to catch all the water in the new patio area which used to be a deck previously. We then finished things off with topsoil/seed/straw to complete this backyard transformation, which is a major upgrade from what it previously was! (Fun fact: this pool has previously had a loose cow fall into it!)

Second up, was a couple porches for a new build house which also was in Waterville. This time we used a random stone pattern with a light brown integral color and dark brown powered release. This one was a learning lesson for us as we’ve never used stamps that fit together a certain way. We actually did the first pour in the snow and were worried we wouldn’t get it sealed as the temps were so low but luckily we did!
